A HISTORY

Since 1954 the Fender Stratocaster has been inspiring guitarists to create some of the best music in the world – they’re THAT good! Designed by Leo Fender, Bill Carson, George Fullerton, and Freddie Tavares, the signature double-cutaway design has been copied and emulated by many brands. The Fender Strat still remains one of the most iconic and sought-after guitars in history.

The Fender Stratocaster appeared on some of the most important songs and albums of all time, courtesy of slick body style and versatile sonic qualities.

LEGENDARY TONE

The Stratocasters infamous 'SSS' single-coil pickup configuration provides an instantly recognisable sound that only Fender can achieve. Most Fender Stratocaster guitars feature a 5-way pickup selector. This allows you to utilise the bridge, middle or neck pickup in isolation, or blend them together.

There is also a range of different Fender Stratocaster models with humbucker configurations that dish up fatter, more powerful tones. These are referred to as 'HSS' or 'HH' Strats, with one or two humbuckers respectively.

FENDER CLASSIC SERIES STRATOCASTER

The Fender Classic series Stratocaster guitars are designed for those who want a vintage style instrument but don’t want to stretch their budget to the likes of the Custom Shop range. These guitars have all been designed to pay homage to the likes of the classic Stratocaster models of the 50s, 60s and 70s, but offer premium appointments and modern improvements that make playing them more enjoyable and reliable!

AMERICAN ELITE SERIES STRATOCASTER

With their 4th Generation Noiseless pickups, the American Elite series is the most controllable Strat guitars Fender have made. With this range, the designers at Fender have managed to eradicate that hum that can sometimes creep in with single-coil pickups – ideal for professional performing musicians. The crisp clear tones are all intact, except their just easier to manage! A “Modern D” shaped profile neck is comfortable for chords and solos whilst an exposed truss rod adjustment wheel makes it a lot easier for us to make changes when needed.

FENDER AMERICAN PERFORMER STRATOCASTER

The range of Fender American Performer Stratocaster guitars is a perfect option for players in need of a total workhorse that allows them to make subtle changes to their sound on the guitar. The inclusion of a Greasebucket tone system allows you to roll back the tone of your guitar without suffering from an increased bass response. Jumbo frets and a “Modern C” shaped neck all contribute to a more comfortable playing experience for your Stratocaster. The new Yosemite pickups sound incredible when clean or with a little distortion thrown at them.

AMERICAN PROFESSIONAL II STRATOCASTER

The Fender American Professional Stratocaster guitars are the new ‘Standard’ American Stratocaster guitars that come loaded with lush sounding, Tim-Shaw designed V-Mod pickups. These offer more growl when need it most, while a new Treble bleed circuit allows you to maintain the bright, open Strat sound when you turn the volume down too!
