Since 2001, Pioneer DJ have established themselves as the industry-leading brand for DJ Mixers, CDJ Turntables and USB DJ Controllers. With a marketplace saturated by cheap-and-cheerful replicas, Pioneer's renowned stamp of quality guarantees a top quality product that is built to last and performs on the big stage - without fail.
The historic CDJ 1000 was seen as a game changer upon its MK1 launch in 2001. With DJs traditionally still lugging bags of records to and from gigs, the CDJ provided a much more convenient format to play and store music in quantity. Small features like track waveform display, full vinyl-platter jog sensitivity and scratching made the original CDJ1000 a big hit in nightclubs around the world, and remained an industry standard ever since. In 2009, Pioneer announced the CDJ900 and CDJ2000, extending the legacy of their most iconic turntable to date.
Sat alongside their CDJs, the Pioneer DJM mixers held everything together. Sturdy, reliable and everything the professional DJ needs. Starting with the DJM-3000, an 19" pro rack mixer, Pioneer continued to develop the DJM line-up in 2, 3, 4 and 5 channel variations with new and updated digital USB connectivity, fader improvements and new effects.
Since 2008, Pioneer noticed the growing trend of bedroom DJs and Live Performers utilising laptops to house and playback their music library. The introduction of the DDJ Series and WeGo series provided digital DJs an interface to perform using RekordBox, Traktor and Virtual DJ software. Many of their USB DJ Controllers closely emulate the legendary feel of the CDJs 1000 and 2000 Nexus.
