Comfortable and Stylish
The mahogany body of the Fender American Acoustasonic Stratocaster is low profile and hollow so it's light and comfortable to hold.
It even features a natural wood integrated forearm contour for added comfort.
Speaking of comfort; the Fender American Acoustasonic Stratocaster's body and neck both benefit from a satin finish so they're beautifully smooth to the touch.
You'll also appreciate the contoured heel and integrated neck plate when reaching for the higher frets.
The soundport in the body of this Acoustasonic Strat has been specially tuned to give you a naturally loud voice while the character of mahogany imbues your tone with rich harmonics.
Aiding playability, the mahogany neck has a modern "Deep C" profile and holds a 12" radius ebony fretboard with 22 narrow tall frets.
Stringed Instrument Resonance System
Fender and Fishman have teamed up to design a new Acoustic Engine and Stringed Instrument Resonance System (SIRS) to give you incredible tone when playing the Fender American Acoustasonic Stratocaster.
The tuned soundport of the American Acoustasonic Stratocaster has a "waterfall" design which controls the flow of air into the body, resulting in even greater resonance when playing unplugged.
Under the saddle is a Fishman Matrix Narrow pickup which captures the acoustic sound of the instrument.
Working in tandem with this is the Fishman Acoustasonic Enhancer which can be found under the bridge. This is dedicated to the soundboard and captures the percussive elements of your performance.
You'll also notice the Fender Acoustasonic Noiseless pick up on the body of the American Acoustasonic Stratocaster, giving you incredible, hum-free Fender electric guitar tone.
In addition to all this, you have a range of controls for getting the sound just right.
First, there's a voice selector switch which allows you to choose between five distinct voice pairs.
Once you've chosen the basis of the sound you're looking for, you can use the "Mod" knob to blend between the two voices in your specified setting to get mix just perfect.
Lastly, there's a master volume knob for setting your overall output level.
You can easily charge the battery in the Fender American Acoustasonic Stratocaster by connecting it to a 5-volt USB-compliant charger and plugging straight into your wall socket. While charging, the LED on the output jack will glow red and it'll turn to green once it's fully charged.
