Squier Mustang

The Mustang delivers all the tonal ferocity and raucous sounds that define punk and indie music. Made iconic by the young generation of rebellious guitarists, the Squier Mustang is fun to play and affordable enough to make it a viable first guitar. Usually kitted out with a pair of humbucker pickups, the Squier Mustang is a tonal powerhouse that far extends beyond its modest price tag.

THE SQUIER MUSTANG – IDEAL FOR BEGINNER GUITARISTS

The Squier Mustang is perfect if you’re just starting out in the world of the guitar as it’s extremely fun to play and comes in at a very modest price tag. You’ll get all of the signature Fender guitar traits such as quality in tone, professional electronics at a fraction of the price usually found in these models.

MUSTANGS COMMAND A HUGE SOUND

Despite coming onto the market as a modest guitar as part of the Student Series - The Mustang has gone on to be cherished among players new and old across the world. This is perhaps because it carries a powerful and reliable sound which is true of the Squier model as well. Again, this means that you’re going to get that rich Mustang tone at a very nice price point. On top of this, you’ll get the iconic aesthetic of the guitar which has been championed by the likes of Graham Coxon, Gary Jarman and Thurston Moore.

SCULPT YOUR SOUND WITH SQUIER MUSTANG

Two helpful slide switches above the pickups on this model turn the neck or bridge pick up off. This is really handy when it comes to shaping your sound. It means you can either blend your pickups or isolate them. As proven with bands like Nirvana and Melvins, the Mustang loves a bit of distortion and fuzz – so don’t be afraid to whack loads on and turn it up.
