Sculpted with the kind of looks usually seen on show in a modern art gallery, the Starstream Active Bass is a perfectly balanced, lightweight instrument.
Short-Scale Design
Offering less string tension than a traditional 34" scale length, the 30" scale of this bass allows you to play for hours on end with the minimal amount of hand fatigue.
In addition to this, the sleek maple neck has been capped with an Ebony fingerboard, adding both visual appeal and extra rigidity.
Aguilar Electronics
Powering this bass onto glory is a powerful combination of an Aguilar AG-4M humbucker, and an Aguilar OBP-2 Preamp.
With the AG-4M humbucker, you get a powerful pickup with incredible string-to-string balance and clarity from the top end of the sonic spectrum to the bottom.
In addition to this, you can shape your tone with ease thanks to the OBP-2 Preamp. This active circuit offers a massive 18dB of cut/boost to your low end, and 16dB cut/boost at the top end.
Premium Hardware
As if all of that wasn't enough, this Starstream Bass comes equipped with Gotoh tuners and a Gotoh bridge. This combination results in incredible levels of tuning stability, with pin-point intonation accuracy, giving you the best possible playing experience.
