There's Someone In My Head, But It's Not Me

Each effects circuit within the Dark Side Workstation has been specially tweaked to offer you a wide array of sounds reminiscent of our favourite 1970's prog rock bands, and allows you to utilise them individually, or utilising a combination of Fuzz or Clean sounds with either Tape Delay or Modulation - there's even a switch that allows you to change the order of the Fuzz and Modulation effects, opening up even more options for you!

OP-Amp Fuzz

Wired to recapture the nuance of earlier fuzz effects, with a more transparent sound than later pedals, the Fuzz circuit within the Dark Side allows your guitar to sing with sustain, whilst retaining your guitars essence and personality, whether used with Single Coil or Humbucker pickup types. Keeley have also included a mid-range toggle switch for you to choose which fuzz type you wish to use - Flat, Scoop or Full - which combines nicely with the control knobs to give you plenty of control over your fuzz tone.

Tape Delay

Featuring a choice of 12 different syncopated delays, each one with the tonal quality of the old spinning drum tape delays, and each one being rhythmic in nature, the Dark Side offers you all the feel and warmth of a vintage tape delay, but with added modern features (such as Expression Pedal control) to give you pin-point accuracy in choosing the correct sound for you. Whether you want a feedback oscillation delay, or just a subtle, single repeat, the circuit has you covered.

4-Types of Modulation

In addition to Fuzz and Delay, you have a choice of four different Modulation styles to choose from. These include Flanger, Rotary Speaker Cabinet, U-Vibe, and phaser, and you can even blend between two of them for unique new sounds, finding the perfect blend between vintage and modern modulation sounds.

The beating heart of the Dark Side is comprised of a hand-built board which accommodates both the analog fuzz and a premium-grade 24-bit DSP engine. This hand-built multi-effects pedal is crafted using decades worth of pedal-building expertise, with attention to detail and tone being at the forefront of every point.
