Mahogany Body, Maple Top

The familiar wood pairing of Solid Mahogany for the back piece, and carved Flame Maple for the top, provides this guitar with a rich, sustainful voice that has plenty of top end snap.

This results in the kind of vintage natural sound that works perfectly with the specially designed TCI "S" humbuckers, whatever configuration you have them setup in.

TCI "S" Humbuckers

Like many guitar enthusiasts, Paul prefers his guitar's tone to be both pure and vintage-sounding - which is why he developed the TCI pickups in the first place.

These TCI "S" pickups are inspired by those originals in many ways, and they're easilly amongst the best sounding that the SE Series has ever seen.

Top Notch Electronics

Fully complimenting the pickups is an electronics system that's never been seen outside of the Private Stock and Core lineups - until now!

In addition to the 3-way toggle switch and the Tone/Volume controls, the PRS SE Paul's Guitar has a pair of 2-way Mini Toggles.

These switches allow you to independently split the coils of each humbucker, giving you all the clarity and uniqueness of a vintage single coil tone.

Built for Comfort

With it's familiarly curved body shape, and it's Wide Fat Neck profile, the PRS SE Paul's Guitar is perfect for the guitarist who's never in a rush. The Wide Fat neck imparts a solid, vintage feel in your hands, letting you know that this is an instrument you can rely upon.
