The Standard Revisited
After the initial success of the Core series Custom 24 in the mid-80's, PRS went on to develop the stripped back Standard lineup - including the Standard 24.
This Standard lineup fast became a favourite with guitarists the world over, and can now be seen as part of the gig-ready S2 series.
Premium-Grade Construction
Thanks to its solid Mahogany boddy and set-in Mahogany neck, the PRS S2 Standard 24 delivers a distinctive resonance and powerful levels of sustain.
This construction goes on to deliver Mahogany's rich, round, warm tone, that is perfectly complimented by the 58/15 "S" pickups sat in the Neck and Bridge positions.
Versatile Tones
Inspired by the pickups on the current Core Series Custom 22, the 58/15 "S" humbuckers on the S2 Standard 24 offer plenty of clear highs and strong mids.
These pickups can be adjusted via the Volume and Tone controls, whilst the Tone pot also features a Push/Pull coil tap function for when you want to dial some Single Coil tones into the mix.
