The Promark Hickory JZ "Jazz" Elvin Jones Wood Tip Drum Sticks were designed by jazz legend Elvin Jones. They feature a 7a style diameter and a long thin neck with an oval bead tip making them the ultimate sticks for jazz.

Elvin Jones was without doubt one of the stand out names of Jazz music. He still remains a legend of the genre. He designed this stick with a diameter similar to that of a 7a stick and a standard 16" length.
The thin, long neck taper allows for a fast and responsive rebound, perfect for the quick ride work typical of jazz.
The oval bead shaped wood tip provides a dark, warm tone that works well for multiple applications.
Manufactured in Texas, USA these Promark sticks are made from hickory, the most popular wood choice for drumsticks because of its resilience, responsiveness and durability. This stick features a diameter of .512" and a length of 16".
