The Promark Hickory 7A "The Natural" Wood Tip Drum Sticks are a standard 7a diameter but with a shorter length. They're great for lower volume playing and are left "natural" without the usual lacquer coat.
An Unlacquered Shorter 7a Stick
If you sometimes feel that standard 7a sticks are slightly too long, the 7a Natural versions provide a great alternative option. These sticks have the usual diameter of a 7a stick (.512") but are slightly shorter at 15 3/8".
Perfect for playing jazz and at lower volumes these light short sticks feature an oval wood tip allowing for dark, warm tones suited to many applications. The medium taper creates a balanced response and rebound.
"The Natural" series of drum sticks is not coated with the usual lacquer finish to provide a natural wood feel.
