With the Origin Effects BASSRIG Super Vintage you get a preamp pedal which is, at its core, a vintage-style bass amplifier in a smaller, pedalboard-friendly format.
Featuring all-analogue circuitry, and taking inspiration from the legendary Ampeg SVT, the BASSRIG Super Vintage accurately recreates the tone and feel of a complete valve amp-style signal path, whilst the built-in cab simulator plays its part to offer the kind of warmth, feel, and drive of this classic rig setup.

- Real Amp Overdrive - Complete valve amp-style signal path with dedicated class-A preamp and push-pull output stage, based on the Ampeg SVT. In addition to this, a reactive overdrive design simulates interaction between amp and speaker, for realistic feel and authentic sound whilst the Blend control allows you to mix in your clean signal for extra low-end clarity.
- Analogue Cabinet Simulator - A balanced DI output with analogue cabinet simulator based on the Ampeg SVT 8 x 10 cabinet has been painstakingly engineered as an essential part of the amp's revered voice. This allows you to craft your ideal studio bass tone, or even run directly through the front of house PA at live shows.
- Powerful Tone-Shaping Amp Out EQ - The Bassrig Super Vintage features a proprietary Amp Out EQ filter which allows you to tailor the output of the pedal, ensuring you never have to compromise on tone, and keeping your output consistent from gig to gig. This EQ is positioned after the drive circuit, whilst the LF and HF trimmers can adjust the Low and High frequencies, allowing you to achieve the sound of a roaring vintage stack from even the smallest of combo amps.
- Built For The Road - With its hand polished, brushed stainless steel enclosure, and aluminium controls, Neutrik jack sockets, and heavy-duty footswitch, this pedal is as much at home on the road as it is in the studio.

If you and your item aren’t getting along, you have 14 days from when you receive the goods to contact our PMT experts either by phone or email to return your item.
