Released at NAMM 2019 following the success of the original Meinl Ching Ring, the new soft version provides the ideal way to add some light shimmer to your kit playing.
Providing a slightly lighter response than the standard Ching Ring, the Meinl SCRING adds a gentle tambourine style “ching” to your cymbal sound.
Super easy to install, simply place the Ching Ring directly onto the top of your hi-hats and you’re good to go.
Just as quick to remove, the Soft Ching Ring works brilliantly for an instant change of tone mid gig or song.
Not just useful on hi-hats the Soft Ching Ring can also be placed on other cymbals to add sound variations to your crashes and rides.
Featuring a lightweight foam 6” ring, the soft Ching Ring is fitted with 5 pairs of stainless steel jingles to deliver a delicate sparkle of tone.
Although the soft Ching Ring features the same stainless style jingle design as the original version, it’s the foam ring that ensures a softer, lighter response.
