The Meinl Generation X 12/14" X-Treme Trash Hat is the perfect way to add some FX sounds to your cymbal setup. The bottom cymbal contains jingles for a super sizzling sound. You can easily adjust the sustain of the trash hats by varying the tightness of the cymbal stand wing nut.

This stack of a top 12" and a bottom 14" cymbal creates a super trashy, short, slightly bright sound. It works well for both accenting and riding. With its medium to low volume you can really lay into this trash hat and it won't become too overpowering. The bottom 14" cymbal is adorned with jingles to add a layer of sizzle to this trashy sound. The jingles work to add a sense of sustain and fullness to the sound, whilst adding to the initial sharp attack.
If you want an experimental, modern sound this Generation X trash hat is a superb choice. It suits a variety of music styles from rock, pop and fusion, to R&B, Reggae and Electro.
