Luis Conte is a Cuban percussionist and the Cultural Ambassador of the Latin Music Institue. He has worked with a variety of internationally successful music artists, touring with James Taylor’s “Band of Legends” as well as being part of Phil Collin’s “Dance into the Light” and “First Farewell Tour”. He has also worked with Elton John, Ricky Martin, Ozzy Osborne, Roger Waters and Barbara Streisand, to name a few.
That’s why he’s well placed to help design a shaker that is ideal for live performance situations. His experience and performance knowledge have enabled Conte to work in conjunction with Meinl to produce a professional, high-quality shaker that is tailored to live performance.
