Incredible Design
With its sharp-horned, stylised double cutaway body, the Ibanez JEMJRL has a stunning visual design.
Better yet; that body shape provides easy access to the upper frets so nothing is holding you back from reaching the higher frets during solos.
One of the more distinctive features on the Ibanez JEMJRL is Steve Vai's signature monkey grip. Having this unique handle adds all manner of additional performance possibilities and it looks great too.
Attached to the body is a Wizard III maple neck providing easy, speedy playability.
Atop the neck is a jatoba fretboard with its reddish brown natural colour being beautifully complemented by the unique Tree of Life inlay.
Jumbo frets are aboard this fretboard for fantastic, all-around playability.
Awesome, Versatile Tone
Giving the Ibanez JEMJRL Left Handed Electric Guitar its fantastic tone is a set of three Quantum pickups.
With an HSH pickup configuration you have a Quantum single-coil alnico pickup in the middle with Quantum Humbucking ceramic pickups on either side.
This combination naturally gives you a wide range of tones as it is but it doesn't stop there.
With the 5-way pickup selector you can really manipulate your sound.
You also have master tone and volume knobs allowing you to put those finishing touches on your output.
Premium Hardware
Fitted to the body of the Ibanez JEMJRL Steve Vai guitar is a double locking tremolo bridge.
This bridge gives you deep and dynamic whammy action for deep dive bombs and more, all while returning to perfect tuning.
Working in tandem with this bridge is a locking nut, further fortifying tuning stability.
