Classic Ibanez Body Shape
Originally-launched in 1975 as the Artist 2663 model, the Ibanez Iceman was the company's first original guitar design, and remains a favourite with many players the world over to this day.
The ICTB721 sees this iconic guitar re-designed as a high-powered 7-String for the metal-centric Iron Label lineup.
Featuring a Wizard II-7 neck-thru-body construction, with Okoume wings, a Black Flat finish, all-black hardware, and a killer voice, this 7-String guitar is a perfect fit with the rest of the Iron Label lineup.
DiMarzio Pickups
For the voice on this guitar, Ibanez have opted to equip a pair of DiMarzio D-Activator humbucker pickups at the Neck and Bridge positions.
These pickups deliver a powerful, clean, and open sound with excellent harmonic overtones and very tight low-end response, making them simply perfect for high gain distortion settings.
Rock Solid Hardware
Bringing the whole thing together, and cementing this guitar's place as a succinct performer, is a host of hardware that's designed to deliver, every time you perform.
Amongst this hardware you'll find a set of Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads, which offer incredible tuning stability and shorter string change times.
In addition to this, the innovative Mono-rail bridge offers both stability and sustain, whilst minimising cross-talk between strings.
As a finishing touch the Ebony fingerboard sports a set of Luminlay side dots, allowing you to know exactly where your fingers should be, on even the darkest of stages.
