Developed for guitarists who want real Ibanez quality but in an affordable package, the GRG121DX has the same rigorous inspection, set-up and warranty that you found in Ibanez’s more expensive models.
- Ibanez Quality Construction: Since it bears the name of Ibanez on the headstock, you can be sure that the GRG121DX has been built with all the care and attention you would expect from one of the biggest names in rock guitars. Mahogany has been used to craft the body which features a beautiful Metallic Grey Sunburst and the specially designed GRG neck is made of Maple. For the fretboard, treated New Zealand Pine has been used and features striking Sharktooth inlays. Maintaining their commitment to excellence, the GRG121DX, as with all instruments in the Gio Series, has undergone the same rigorous inspection and set-up that the more expensive Ibanez models ship with.
- Quality Electronics with IBZ Humbuckers: IBZ-6 Humbuckers, passive ceramic pickups exclusive to Ibanez, are found at both the neck and bridge pickup positions providing great sound and clarity. A five-way lever gives you plenty of options for how you want to use your pickups, while two control knobs allow you to adjust the overall tone and volume of the GRG121DX-MGS.
