This excellent SG-esque, solid-bodied electric guitar comes complete with a black scratchplate, offset waist design, set-neck construction and Tune-O-Matic bridge, as well as incredibly versatile ESP-Designed humbuckers with split-coil functionality. To top it all off, the VIPER-256's look is ideal whether you play metal, hard rock, blues or pretty much any other musical genre.
The Pickups
The ESP Designed LH-150 humbucker pickups give you all the spank and growl that you'd expect coming from a guitar of this shape, but if you pull the Tone control knob it activates the split coil circut, giving you two Single Coil pickups to play with and offering you a whole host of new tones with which to experiment. Additionally, whilst the guitar was created to be an absolute beast when played through a high-gain distortion setting, it's equally as clear and articulate when played through a clean channel, giving you a vast array of tonal choices to play around with!
