MXR

MXR are a US based guitar effects manufacturer founded in 1972 by high school friends Terry Sherwood and Keith Barr. The two started off repairing stereo's and audio equipment which soon led to the development of their own equipment. Just 2 years later and MXR were not only producing effects pedals, but some of the best the world had seen thus far.

The MXR Micro Amp has super charged the tone of Frank Zappa and Jack White, while the Phase 90 was famously used by Eddie Van Halen on Eruption.

Big names with big personalities, but more than anything these guys were tone purists who would only use gear that sounds great. MXR have continued to add creative new effects to the stable, including the Carbon Copy which has been one of our best selling analogue delay pedals.
