Your choices are simple: head out and buy a cheap 2ft cable, but risk harming your signal; use one of your premium-grade full-size cables, but have lots of excess getting in the way; spend excessive amounts of cash on an even bigger board then spend lots of hours (yet again) rearranging your pedals; or you could just make your own patch cable, that's the perfect length for your needs.
Normally this final choice would be the most palatable, but can often involve messy soldering, and plenty of trial & error attempts to get it right.

Easy to assemble, saves space without sacrificing tone
This fully customisable system doesn't need you to do any messy soldering: simply cut the cable to the length you need, then attach a jack plug to each end and simply tighten the single ground screw on each connector. No cable stripping required either!
The compact, quarter-inch, bi-directional plugs have been engineered to allow either straight or right-angle connections, allowing you to play your pedals as close as 1cm apart! Additionally, the studio-grade cabling is manufactured from oxygen-free copper, and provides a quiet operation with lasting durability thanks to the high-grade braided shielding. Not only that, but it can be yours for less than £20!
