Fitted with an integrated mounting clamp, the C518ML is equipped to a fit a wide variety of instruments from drum rims, to xylophone racks to saxophone bells.
With the installed Gooseneck holder, you'll its flexibility allows you to point the mic at almost any angle of attack, holding it firmly in position - no matter how hard you beat that floor tom!
With a detachable microphone cable, you'll find it really easy to install and service your C518 ML, allowing for a quick set-up if you're in a hurry.
Built To Go The Distance
Made using a full-metal housing, you'll find the robust exterior to be highly beneficial when using in close proximity to a drum kit.
Complete with a built-in shock mount, the vital microphone capsule and components are completely protected from your hard-hitting beats - this microphone can take a knock or two.
As well as including a mini XLR cable, the C518 ML includes plus a unique A400 adapter plate to easily mount the C518 ML onto a variety of AKG body-pack transmitters for some extra sonic-versatility between your products (compatible with PT40/45/450/470).

Thanks to the cardioid polar pattern, you'll receive a focused and direct sound from your source, with minimal spill and maximum rejection of unwanted feedback and noise.
