The Zildjian 22" Project 391 Limited Edition Ride features a specifically crafted B15 alloy made to create a consistent cutting sound.
Limited Edition Rare Ride
Zildjian produced the Project 391 range as a limited edition series. It consisted of the first publicly available Zildjian B15 alloy cymbals crafted to offer a new sound, different to that of their other ranges. Made from 85% copper and 15% tin and featuring a 2-step lathing process, Zildjian achieved a set of cymbals with a new frequency range.
This 22" ride offers a clear, warm bell sound ideal for accenting. It has good stick response and a nice warm, full spread of sound across high and low frequencies. With great crashability, this ride is super versatile and would not be out of place in a variety of musical settings. Its medium weight and controlled volume mean you can really lay into this ride without fear that it will become messy sounding.
A really good, all round ride for lots of situations. If you're looking for something a little different to the norm, this limited edition project 391 ride is definitely worth your consideration.
