TouchFlow Operation

The engineers at Yamaha deliver a workhorse of a digital mixer with easy touch-screen technology offering a seamless operation of the mixer.

With user-friendly presets and scenes, the Yamaha TF5 mixer operation can be dialled in comfortably and effortlessly.

Most applications can be executed via the touch panel which you'll soon get used to with support from physical controls. Whether you're a complete newbie to touch panel mixer controls or an experienced engineer, you'll be working with this mixer with complete confidence in no time.

Touch and Turn Control

Right next to the touch control panel is a physical Touch and Turn knob, which allows extra control and precision over any EQ adjustments.

Not only that, there are four user-defined knobs that can be assigned to such functions as compressor threshold, EQ gain, or any other parameters you need quick and essential access to when you're working the mix.

Compression and EQ Control Knobs

The 1-Knob COMP allows compression control, whether it be a guitar amp, drum snare or vocals, without having to mess around with various parameters to deliver the desired compressor effect.

The 1-Knob EQ allows you to get great EQ results almost instantaneously. Also, featuring a vocal mode to offer full clarity and clean vocal output.

What's more, both of these knobs are available on the output channels, so you can add the compression or EQ to the room you're working in.

Gain Setup with Gainfinder

Gainfinder allows you to offer optimum gain setup for individual input signals delivering ideal operation and signal quality.

For traditionalists, the level meters also perform their standard function, so the gain setup procedure can be followed if preferred.

QuickPro Presets

Featuring a range of shortcuts to that perfect sound by instrument. Novices will find this a fantastic feature, while experienced engineers will find it useful, to get to where they want it quickly adjusting it after.

StageMix and MonitorMix Apps

The Yamaha TF StageMix app lets you use your mixer from anywhere in the room.. The app visually replicates your TouchFlow’s panels and has easy to use controls that act instantly to your mix. Perfect for bands or artists if they're sorting their own mixes while sound checking on stage.

With level and panning controls, the Yamaha MonitorMix is a bespoke app that provides app users with their own monitoring system.
