This kit simply has the whole package from triple-flanged hoops for projecting clear drum tones, to Yamahas own Enhanced Sustain System (YESS). This system provides minimum contact between hardware and shell to deliver the best sound possible.

Premium Birch Shells
The Yamaha Stage Custom Birch is equipped with 6-ply birch shells, which help create a strong sound whilst offering enhanced durability. The 22" bass drum is an absolute cannon with a deep gut-busting growl while the snare is your rifle bosting one hell of a crack. Being made of birch the toms offer incredible dynamics and a vast dramatic tonal range from popping highs to incredible punchy lows.
Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System
The YESS system creates minimum contact with the hardware of the shell and connects the hardware with the nodal part of the drum making sure it doesn't interfere with shell vibration. Nylon bushings on the rod offer increased stability and balance, allowing for use with even the most intense drumming styles and playing techniques.
