The Yamaha Stage Custom Birch is equipped with 6-ply birch shells, which help create a strong sound whilst offering enhanced durability. The 20" bass drum and 14" floor tom create deep, heavy sounds which are well suited to use with any rock music. The Stage Custom shell pack is equipped with Remo drum heads for smooth, accurate responses across all of the drums. The toms have Remo Ambassador Clear drum heads whilst the bass drum features Remo Powerstroke 3 drum heads. A classic wooden hoop on the bass drum also guarantees great sound and playability.
That Low End Birch Punch
The Yamaha Stage Custom shells are constructed from 6-ply birch wood - a classic wood choice for drums because of its boosted high frequencies and good low end. It's ideal for applications requiring extra presence and cut. It's a classic choice for high-end drum kits but the Stage Custom is affordable enough for anyone from students to more established players.

Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System
The YESS system creates minimum contact with the hardware of the shell and connects the hardware with the nodal part of the drum - making sure it doesn't interfere with shell vibration. Nylon brushings on the rod offer increased stability and balance, allowing for use with even the most intense drumming styles and playing techniques. The system also prevents toms from being too close together, whilst the floor toms offer wide open sustain, keeping the toms stable while under heavy strokes.

The Yamaha HW680W Drum Hardware Pack is a high-quality hardware pack from Yamaha, featuring two cymbal boom stands, a hi-hat stand, a snare drum stand, and a single bass drum pedal.
All the stands included in this pack feature a sturdy, double-braced design to ensure reliable stability throughout the play.
The hi-hat stand features a single chain drive with a toe-guard, offering a fast, reliable action whilst keeping your feet safe in the event of the pedal becoming slippery after a long set.
The single chain driven bass drum pedal features a felt beater with a smooth action cam, providing a fast, powerful tone whilst keeping the beater light for a more natural feel.
