The dual set of red-hot VH5 pickups set this guitar ablaze, only to be cooled down by the ice-cool visuals of the vintage white finish and the iconic chrome-coated Bigsby bridge. Custom-Wound Pickups
Kitted out with a hot pair of Yamahas own VH5 humbucker style pickups, you'll be fully equipped to deliver the bright tones of a vintage humbucker with all the power and fullness of a modern guitar.
Perfectly custom-wound and tonally balanced for maximum tonality and playability by the engineers at Yamaha Guitar Development (YGD) have ensured that these versatile pickups perform consistently across the board, no matter your play-style.
Innovative Dry Switch
Designed especially for their Revstar range of guitars, the RS502TFM comes equipped with a revolutionary Dry Switch. With the option to split your double coil into a single coil, ordinarily, you would expect a muddiness and loss of volume as an unavoidable side effect - but the innovative technicians at Yamaha have developed a solution.
Filtering out the low frequencies using a passive filter circuit, the dry switch improves the clarity of the single coil and fills out the tone - which would otherwise be hollow and lacking. The addition of this Dry Switch makes the RS502TFM a truly versatile instrument with plenty of tone options for a variety of styles and applications.
Vintage Vibrations
Visually eye-catching and iconic in stature, the Bigsby B50 tremolo arm sits proudly on the tail of the RS720BX. Engineered to perfectly maintain intonation and playability, this unique, shimmering-chrome addition only improves on this guitars already-stunning vintage aesthetic.
With a dazzling, clean Vintage White gloss finish, hand-brushed hardware and vintage patina, these traditional additions come together to complete a truly modern classic.
