With the Yamaha FGX820C MKII, seen here with a sleek Natural finish, you get a high-quality electro acoustic guitar that combines superb playability with incredible tone.

A True Performer's Acoustic

Yamaha's illustrious FG series has been gracing the music scene ever since their introduction in 1966, and in the more-than five decades since then, the company has continually developed these guitars in line with the needs of contemporary players.

Yamaha FGX820C MKII Electro-Acoustic Guitar, Natural Highlights

  • High quality, solid-top acoustic guitar
  • Traditional Western-style Dreadnought body shape, with an upper-bout cutaway
  • Solid Sitka Spruce top, with layered Mahogany back and sides
  • Highly-playable Nato neck, capped with a Rosewood fingerboard
  • System 66 Preamp system and SRT Acoustic Pickup

High-Quality Construction

Featuring a solid Sitka Spruce top, and Mahogany back and sides with scalloped bracing, the FGX820C delivers a superb natural voice that's perfect for strummers and flatpickers.

Combine this with the 0.25mm thin finish, and a super-comfortable thin neck profile, and you have yourself a guitar that not only offers superior wood projection, but is also an utter delight to play.

Plug n' Play Capabilities

Whether you're recording in the studio, or performing to a decent-sized audience, sometimes a guitar's natural projection might not be quite enough - which is where the electronics on this guitar can really shine through.

With the SRT Piezo pickup and System 66 Preamp, you have an electronics system that will capture every nuance and natural sound of your playstyle, transferring it through to the amplifier or mixing desk of your choice.

If that wasn't enough, the Preamp also features controls for Volume, a 3-band EQ (with Mid Frequency selector) and even a built-in tuner, ensuring that you always sound at your best wherever you perform.
