Affordable And Extremely Playable Acoustic

Yamaha created the now-legendary FG lineup of acoustics way back in 1966, and have spent the past 50+ years continually evolving and developing the guitars to meet the needs of the modern player.

Yamaha FGX800C MKII Electro-Acoustic Guitar, Sand Burst Highlights

  • Great-playing Electro acoustic guitar with a traditional Western body shape
  • Solid Sitka spruce top withe a Nato/Okume back and sides
  • Newly developed scalloped bracing
  • Traditional looks and outstanding quality
  • System 66 preamp with SRT piezo acoustic pickup
  • Ideal for aspiring professional players

Road Ready Construction

Featuring a traditional Dreadnought-style body with an upper-bout cutaway, a Solid Spruce top, and Nato back and sides, this is a guitar that's simply built to perform.

Not only does the inclusion of a solid Spruce top and newly-developed scalloped bracing offer an incredible amount of natural projection and brightness to your sound, but the layered Nato back and sides will ensure the guitar remains stable even with extreme changes in temperature and humidity.

The endresult is a fantastic guitar that produces an incredibly well-balanced voice, making it ideal for any playing style.

Just Plug In And Play

Whether you're recording in the studio, or performing to a decent-sized audience, sometimes a guitar's natural projection might not be quite enough - which is where the electronics on this guitar can really shine through.

With the SRT Piezo pickup and System 66 Preamp, you have an electronics system that will capture every nuance and natural sound of your playstyle, transferring it through to the amplifier or mixing desk of your choice.

If that wasn't enough, the Preamp also features controls for Volume, a 3-band EQ (with Mid Frequency selector) and even a built-in tuner, ensuring that you always sound at your best wherever you perform.
