Direct Drive Double Kick Pedal from Yamaha
In order to design the perfect kick drum pedal with, Yamaha has taken on feedback from their artists. Utilising this input, Yamaha have tweaked features on the DFP9500D giving it a smoother feel while making it stronger and more versatile.
Solid Frame Structure
Yamaha have taken their original frame structure design, incorporating a sub-frame below the rocker shaft to ensure greater stability and improved durability so drummers using the JDFP9500D will enjoy a smoother and more stable experience.
A stabiliser bar has been cast into the pedal below the rocker shaft to eliminate flex, keeping the bearings aligned and giving the pedal a really smooth feel.
High Quality Direct Drive Pedal
A solid cast link between the rocker shaft and the footboard pushes the footboard back on rebound so you can experience a quicker response from the pedal. If you tend to play heel-down then a direct drive pedal is for you.
The hole in the beater hub has a tear drop shape in order to securely hold the beater shaft and prevent the new two-sided beater from spinning, with the new beater being felt on one side and hard plastic on the other
A side-adjustable hoop clamp firmly grips different thickness hoops and tightens with a wing bolt.
Adding to its portability, the Yamaha DFP-9500D comes in a hard sided soft case making it easy to transport while protecting it – perfect for taking along to gigs, rehearsals or the studio.
