Defying its affordability, the WLO12SE features fantastic construction made with top quality materials.
The body has been expertly crafted from Mahogany; that’s Mahogany back, sides and a solid Mahogany top, giving a nicely warm tone with enhanced mid-range response.
Furthermore, the Washburn WLO12SE electro-acoustic guitar features Walnut binding for an extra touch of elegance.
A 25.5” scale length, sturdy Mahogany neck with 2-way trussrod holds an Ovangkol fretboard with 20 frets and dot inlays.
Cathedral peaked advanced scalloped-X bracing allows for the solid Mahogany top to resonate powerfully, creating optimum tone while retaining a sturdy, strong build.
Hardware and Strings
NuBone has been used for the nut and saddle while Ovangkol has been used for the bridge.
Derived from Graph Tech’s famous TUSQ material, NuBone is designed to deliver enhanced tone transfer and sustain to your guitar sound and does not dampen the sound like other nuts will.
Chrome diecast tuners found on the headstock look great while allowing for quick and easy tuning of your guitar strings, with the WLO12SE coming ready-strung with D'Addario EXP light gauge phosphor bronze strings.
