Based on the timeless mic from the 60s, the Warm Audio WA-87 R2 Vintage in Nickel is a premium Condenser Microphone that delivers spectacular audio capture at a fraction of the original counterpart's price.
Having spent five spent meticulously refining and articulating the exact sonic quality as the original, the WA-87 R2 boasts a design that includes a retro 60s circuit and also uses the same capsule as the WA-87.

Enabling you to record essentially anything thrown your way, the WA-87 gives the option of choosing omnidirectional, cardioid and figure of eight polar patterns. So whether you're tracking piano, guitars, vocals or drum overheads, you can be confident you'll always achieve mesmerising results.
Not only that but a switchable -10dB pad, record extremely loud sound sources with minimal hassle. With an additional 80Hz high-pass filter, eliminate low-frequency rumble whilst tracking anything with a more prominent low-end.

Showcasing a highly rugged and larger nickel-plated brass design, the WA-87 R2 comes with a newly added rounded head basket design, resulting in more space around the capsule.
