Diamond Visual Metre
Keeping the classic Vox design aesthetic, the VXT-1 tuner pedal features a diamond shaped display.
This display is large and easily visible with the note indicator and smooth LED metre making your pitch immediately obvious.
Displaying tuning information which precision as high as the the VXT-1's +/-0.02 cents is usually extremely difficult but the diamond visual metre makes it possible.
Three Display Modes
With the Vox VXT-1 strobe pedal tuner, you have three different display modes to choose from.
As the name suggest, the Strobe Display Mode is designed on strobe tuner principles and allows for incredibly precise and more accurate tuning.
When your string's pitch is sharp, the LED metre illumination will rotate clockwise, when it's flat the metre will rotate anti-clockwise. Once the flow stops, you've got your string perfectly in tune.
Using the Diamond Display Mode, you have to tune your instrument so that the angle above the LED metre lights up.
If the LED is light to the right of the centre, that means your pitch is sharp, if it lights up to the left your pitch is flat. Once you reach the correct pitch, the blue LED at the top angle will light.
Lastly, you have the Vertical Display Mode. When your pitch is sharp, the LED above the centre will light up. When your pitch is flat, the LED below will light up. Once you reach the correct pitch, the left and right angles of the LED will light up along with the upper blue LED.
With these three distinct display modes available, the Vox VXT-1 tuner pedal will have something that suits your preferences perfectly.
Offset Tuning Mode for Instrument Specific Tuning
Another great feature of the Vox VXT-1 strobe pedal tuner is its multiple tuning modes.
