The Vic Firth Signature Series Amhir Questlove Thompson Natural Finish Sticks offer a different feel to the previous Questlove signatures.
Same Signature, Different Feel
If you’re a fan of Vic Firth’s Questlove Signature sticks but don’t like the painted finish or the VicGrip finish, you’re in luck. Using the same dimensions as the previous signature model, Vic Firth have adapted the finish of the stick to offer a natural option.
One of Vic Firth’s longest and thinnest sticks, the Questlove signature drumsticks are 17” in length and have a very thin .520” diameter. They also feature a long taper and a tear drop shaped wood tip.
Questlove says about the sticks: “I’ve used Vic Firth all my life. To me there is no other option - Vic Firth is the best! The wood Vic chooses is the strongest and most durable which is so important, especially with a thin stick like mine!”
So, if you want the feel of sticks used by Grammy Award winning member of The Roots and in-house sticksman for the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Show, now you can.
The previous version of Questlove’s sticks are still available, featuring Vic Firth’s VicGrip anti-slip finish and white painted shaft, but if you fancy something a little more natural feeling, you now have that option.
