You get a fantastic punch with each drum that has many sweet and mellow undertones.
Bearing Edges
The bearing edges on the Tama Starclassic allows a more snug fit with the drum heads. This gives a better contact between shell and drumhead. The result is a near-perfect vibration transfer from one to the other delivering better resonance and sustain.
Star-Cast Mounting System
The Star-Cast Mounting System is engineered to offer stability and resonance between drum and mount.
Quick-Lock Tom Brackets
Allowing a quick and easy set-up so that you can position your toms without movement. When the drum is removed for breakdown, the "memory lock" portion remains on the tom stand or floor tom leg. This saves your positioning and makes the next set-up quick and easy.
Air Cushioned Legs
The Starclassic's air pocket rubber feet removes the transfer of vibrations to the floor and holds steady when playing hard.
