The Tama Round Rider XL Red Drum Throne features the very popular traditional round cushion seat top. However, the XL provides a slightly wider and thicker seating surface for increased comfort and support.
Larger Throne for Extra Comfort and Support
Most drummers will tell you that if you're not sat comfortably when playing it affects your whole playing experience. If you feel uncomfortable, don't feel set to the right height and don't feel stable or supported you're not going to enjoy your time behind the kit. That's why it's so important to find a stool that works for you.
This drum throne has a traditional rounded cushion shape that is extemely popular due to its versatility. Tama have developed this seat with an increase in thickness and seating surface area to ensure that the Round Rider XL provides optimum comfort and support while drumming.
1st Chair Adjustment & Glide-Tide Grip Joint
Tama have designed their proprietary 1st chair height adjustment system which combines a threaded rod throne with the T-bolt system to offer easy and fast height adjustment. This in conjunction with their Glide-Tite Grip Joint ensures a solid and secure seating position. The Glide-Tide Grip Joint uses a metal-to-metal contact point to form a very solid base attachment for even the heaviest hitters.
Rocklok
Tama have also developed a specifically designed Nylon Bushing that sits at the bottom of the throne's threaded rod and stops it from moving side-to-side within the base, a common problem with most drum thrones. This makes for an exceptionally stable stool.
The stool also features a super stable throne base design which uses a lower centre of gravity and double braced tripod legs. The oversized rubber feet further add to the stability of the throne.
