The Tama 10” x 5” Mini Tymp Snare comes complete with a bracket for quick and easy mounting and positioning. Featuring half set snare wires and an adjustable strainer knob to offer a variety of sound from one compact drum.
Tama Mini-Tymp Snare
This unique single headed mini snare drum features a 1.0mm steel shell and provides a versatile range of sound within a compact set up.
Featuring half set snare wires that rest against the batter head, this Tama Mini Tymp provides the option to be used with a snare sound or without.
The steel shell provides a clear high-end tone, with a scooped mid-range and low end. It’s cutting tone is ideal to accenting specific parts of your music, with a clear, transparent punch of tone.
Snare and Timpani In One
The 10” Mini Tymp is fitted with a tuning knob that acts as a snare strainer, allowing you to quickly and easily adjust the contact between the snare wires and the batter head.
Crank the wires up to the batter head for maximum contact and a robust, sensitive snare sound with lots of snap.
Or, turn the snare wires down and away from the batter head for a mini timbale sound.
Whether you want a side snare for a quick change of tone or you want an additional percussion sound option in your set up, this Tama Mini Tymp provides you with a variety of tone.
MC69 Single Tom Adapter
This Tama Mini Tymp Snare comes complete with the included MC69 single tom adapter allowing it to be easily clamped to hardware stands.
Offering quick and easy mounting, the MC69 adapter ensures optimum positioning to ensure you achieve your most comfortable playing set up.
Providing a secure placement, the Tama MC69 mount offers solid, secure positioning to make sure your mini tymp stays in place throughout your playing session.
Finishing Touches
This 10” mini tymp is fitted with a triple flanged hoop on the batter side, while the bottom remains open.
The mini tymp features 6 lugs for stable tuning and is fitted with Tama’s MSL10TM lugs.
All the hardware is chrome and perfectly complements the sleek shining steel finish of the shell for an overall strikingly professional aesthetic.
