Rock Solid Construction
The body on this bass is created from basswood with that instantly-familiar dual-cutaway Stingray shape, with a bolted on maple neck featuring the tried-and-tested "C" profile shape.
This results in a bass that not only looks the part, but is also incredibly comfortable to play, whether you're seated or standing, and whether you're on a stage or in the studio.
Low Frequency Powerhouse
This awesome bass features active electronics, low noise hum bucking pickups, rock solid hardware and a simple, uncluttered look that is instantly recognizable and respected.
In addition to this, the Sterling SUB Ray 4 comes equipped with a Ceramic magnet bridge-position humbucker. This pickup is designed to deliver that vintage, thumping-yet-articulate StingRay sound that helped define a generation of music hits.
