The Performer s800 is a conveniently compact stereo power amplifier powered by SPL’s proprietary VOLTAiR technology to allow complete control of speaker volume, all the way to the load limits.
Performer s800 packs enough punch to easily deliver 2x 285W into 4 ohms via its analogue linear power supply and Toroidal transformer. In bridge mode, the amp delivers 450W into 4 or 8 ohms.
Featuring bipolar power amp transistors that are directly drivable via preamp, the character of the s800 is best described as fast, direct and highly efficient in sound.
Input gain can also be lowered via a rotary 0.5dB stepped trim switch down to -5.5dB to achieve optimal stere sweet spots, especially in less-than-ideal acoustic spaces.
