The Shure KSM8 is the world's first dynamic microphone to utilise a patented dual thin-diaphragm design and Airflow system for unparalleled vocal reproduction, performance and clarity.

For applications where vocal clarity, detail and feedback supression is paramount, the Shure KSM8 delivers. Shure's patented Patented cartridge design features two ultra-thin diaphragms (one active and one passive) and a groundbreaking inverted airflow system. As a result, on-axis colouration is minimised and allows for greater control of the proximity effect, which produces a truly natural, detailed frequency response for all vocal types.
A Neodymium magnet resides in a micro-injection mold of aerospace SoftMag material, maximizing the magnetic field for the highest output level. Other engineering subtleties include a Pumping Pneumatic Shock Mount, consisting of tuned cavities, specific resistances and precisely machined components fully integrated into the cartridge. All of this results in exceptional handling noise rejection without the need to roll-off low frequencies.
Shure have drawn upon decades of research, development and success with their award-winning PG and SM series microphones to push the boundaries of dynamic mic design. The KSM8 is a dream come true for vocal performers on the big stage.
