The set features a 2-band Tone Circuit, providing precise bass and treble controls, a master volume, a blend control, and a special frequency contour switch.
Tailored to Perfection: Your Unique Sound
The preamp, expertly voiced by Steve Bailey himself, boasts 3 bands of focused EQ, along with a frequency contour switch optimized to enhance fretless harmonics and mid-range boost. The contour switch, engaged by pulling up the volume control, allows you to fine-tune your sound. Two small trim pots on the circuit board enable you to customize the frequency contour EQ to your exact preference.
Effortless Installation, Endless Possibilities
This versatile system can be seamlessly installed in any fretless bass that accommodates 3 control knobs (volume/freq switch, blend, concentric bass and treble controls) and a single 9v battery in the control cavity. For added headroom, two 9v batteries can be wired together in series. The set includes all necessary mounting hardware, high-quality potentiometers on a pre-wired harness, a battery clip, and sleek black anodized, knurled, dome-style knobs.
