With the Sennheiser E609 you get a rugged workhorse with a practical shape, perfect for live and recording studio use. It's a super-cardioid instrument microphone that has been specially developed for miking guitar cabs face on and extremely close to the signal source.
The chassis of the E609 is also specifically designed to not rattle or interfere with any recordings made, even if the amp is set to 11.
