Hail to The King
Being a Synyster Gates signature guitar, the Schecter Synyster Custom-S had to be pretty high-spec in order to meet the demanding play style.
The striking, custom body shape of the Synyster Custom-S has been crafted from Mahogany and features a beautiful Satin Gold Burst finish.
Set-neck construction sees the joining of a Mahogany 3pc neck which has Schecter’s famed Ultra Access gives you incredible reach of the higher frets thanks the small, slim heel with an incredible smooth finish. Carbon fibre reinforcement rods ensure an incredibly secure neck that will withstand all playing styles.
The Ebony fingerboard is brought to life by incredible Gold Pearloid inlays displaying the Avenged Sevenfold Deathbat logo, gothic inlays and the name SYN.
Hardcore Hardware and Electronics
The combination of a Floyd Rose 1500 Series tremolo ridge and Floyd Rose 1500 Series nut keeps your strings perfectly aligned and in tune – even when performing superfast, deep and frantic tremolo action like that heard in Gates’ incendiary performances.
The horned headstock screams pure Synyster style and features Grover Rotomatic 18:1 machine heads, famous for their stability, making tuning the Synyster Custom quick, easy and precise.
At the bridge pickup position is a Schecter USA Synyster Gates Signature Humbucker, a real sonic force.
At the neck pickup position is a Sustainiac OEM SYN.
A Sustainiac pickup in the neck position takes the vibrations of the guitar processes it and then it is amplified by the Systainiac circuit.
This processed and amplified pickup signal is then connected to the Sustainiac driver which turns your amplified guitar note into vibrational energy. This energy is then fed back into the strings via the Sustainer resulting in an intense vibration, awesome harmonics and a note that will sustain indefinitely.
Imagine having the feedback you can get from your amp but in a completely controllable state, built into your guitar so you don’t have to go anywhere and with a sustain that will literally last for as long as you want it to.
An assortment of onboard switches and knobs allow you to select between the pickups, adjust the volume, Sustainiac mode and more.
