The Sabian APX Solid Ride is ideal if you're looking for a super crisp sound with lots of clean, clear stick articulation. It's like the 4K HD version of cymbals. With it's high-powered, clear, cutting attack and a powerful bell for added punctuation and accenting, the APX 20" ride has a laser sharp sound.
Though it may have an impressively clear top end tone don't be mistaken, this cymbal can still offer robust mid range frequencies. Its heavy weight means it has a well spread sustain and can withstand being laid into with some power.
