Thin Crashable Ride
Introduced at NAMM 2019 as part of the AAX series revamp, this 20 inch Thin Ride adds a whole new palette of sound to the AAX line.
The new AAX range sees the delisting of less popular models, the persistence of the popular Freq, Omni, Aero and X-Plosion ranges and the introduction of new hi-hats, crashes and rides.
The development of a completely new AAX hammering process also means these new cymbals provide an extended frequency range to deliver versatile tone for the diverse, modern drummer.

Crashable Ride
Sabian have utilised a small raw bell in the creation of their AAX Thin Ride in order to enable increased crash ability.
Having a smaller bell keeps the weight of the ride to a minimum allowing it to open up quickly to deliver superb crashing accents.
The ideal way to achieve a wide range of sound from a reduced set up, this Sabian ride allows you to play crisp ride patterns and crashing accents from one cymbal.
The combination of sweet stick ping, swelling crash ability and accenting bell tone make this a versatile ride ideal for a wide range of musical styles.
New Look, New Sound
The overhaul of the Sabian AAX cymbals sees the introduction of a completely new hammering process which serves to deliver a new look as well as a new sound.
This new hammering style produces a more visibly hammered aesthetic courtesy of the larger, rounder peen that's used.
Aside from the aesthetic changes this produces, it also creates a thinner ride with a more complex tone and a slightly darker sound.
In addition to the changed low-end response, this hammering process also injects more highs into the sound, resulting in a wider band of frequency.
