Modern Update of a Popular Range
Unveiled at NAMM 2019 alongside a much talked about new logo, the Sabian Unbound AAX series is a revamp of the original popular AAX line.
Initially released in 1993, the Sabian AAX cymbals quickly began popular thanks to their innovative modern sound.
Working to keep the range as modern and relevant as possible, Sabian have transformed the series by delisting less popular options, maintaining the successful X-Plosion, Freq, Aero and Omni models and introducing a series of new crashes, hats and rides.
Utilising a new hammering process, the new cymbals in the AAX series deliver increased highs, slightly more lows and a fast, complex sound ideal for a wide range of music styles.

New Style
As mentioned, the re-energised AAX series sees the introduction of a whole new hammering style.

In addition to providing shimmering looks, the hammering style also allows the crash to achieve a wide range of frequency response.
