SABIAN’s Aero design aims to boost the higher frequency response while simultaneously reducing the mids and lows. In HHX though, it works a bit differently.

While there is still a boost to the high end, just the right amount of the darkness and lows that have made HHX Complex crashes so popular is retained. Available in 16",18", and 20", the HHX Complex Aero Crashes were a definite hit with Sabian's R&D team during the development process.
The cymbals have tons of exquisite attack, enough to make your eyebrows fall off if you hit them hard enough, this attacking force is extremely controlled due to the perforated surface and still holds that gorgeous darkness the HHX line is well known for. Perfect for a bite of cymbal in a verse that won't completely bleed into the lead singer's mic!
Take a pair of mallets to the cymbal and you can be overwhelmed with a wash of absolute delight and mischief but you could still be at home in an orchestral environment with this here pie!
