The Loop Block brings another level of music production to your ROLI BLOCKS collection. Simply connect the ROLI Loop Block to your Lightpad Block with a click and you’re instantly equipped with some awesome production features.

What Are BLOCKS?

ROLI BLOCKS is a modular music studio that opens up a world of music-making to everyone. Each individual Block offers unique functions and capabilities allowing people to create music in easy and intuitive yet far-reaching ways.

Connecting together easily, the Blocks allow for highly customisable kits suitable for any budget or skill level and a wide range of musical styles. Magnet connectors allow the Blocks to click together on-the-go for simple and innovative music production.

Simple and Intuitive Controls

The Loop Block has a number of functions to add more and more layers to your sound. Four of which work in conjunction with a larger +/– button, just select the option you want and then increase or decrease the intensity with the +/- button.

These adjustable options are as follows:

• Mode – This allows you to toggle between favourite sounds, loops and tracks
• Volume – Allows you to adjust the volume
• Click – Allows you to set the tempo similar to on a metronome
• Snap – This selection allows you to quantise a recorded loop to make it run in time with the beat

In addition to this there are four more buttons that work independently:

• Undo – This button allows you to undo your last recording
• Play – This button allows you to play recorded loops and pauses them
• Record – Records a loop
• Learn – Activates demos that can teach you how to interact with each sound

Simple Connection

You can connect the Loop Block together with the Lightpad Block with a simple click. Incredibly simple to use; the buttons are less than finger’s length away from the Lightpad Block’s playable surface so you can make your Loop Block options at lightning speed.
Incorporate a Live Block for even further options and you can easily reconfigure your blocks whenever you feel like it – even during playing you can disconnect and reconnect your ROLI BLOCKS so you can find a setup that works for you.
Alternatively, you don’t even have to have them physically connected at all as they still work together wirelessly.
