Each and ever nuance of your playing is captured with lightning-fast, pin-point precision, letting you utilise all of your favoured acoustic techniques - such as muting the ride, or cross-stick playing on the snare.

In addition to this, the VH-14D represents a whole new level of electronic hi-hat playing, offering the kind of touch sensitivity, tonal variation, and open/closed resolution never been seen on an electronic kit.

Natural-Feel Acoustic Drums

For a truly-authentic Acoustic kit-playing experience, the VAD706 comes equipped with Roland's famous multi-ply mesh heads.

With three-layer heads on the snare and floor tom, and two-layer heads on the rack toms, this kit provides you with a natural stick resistance and rebound that you can customise to suit your own playing style.

In addition to this, the physical air resistance you feel when playing the kick drum is a truly satisfying feeling, whilst the real wood shells and traditional mounts of the toms offers an uncannily acoustic feel too.

Build Your Signature Kit

Thanks to the fine-tuning element of the TD-50X module, you can fully customise your kit at every level.

Whether you want to make quick adjustements to tuning and muffling, or even deep dive and build an entire kit from the ground up, the TD-50X gives you the tools to do it.

Once your kit has been built, you then get to choose which ambient space your kit is within, as you have full control of room type, reverberation, and other parameters with PureAcoustic Ambience.

Powerful Connectivity Options

With a wide range of connectivity options, the Roland VAD706 V-Drums electronic drum kit is poised and ready to deliver great sound live on stage or in the recording studio.

Stereo outputs from the TD-50X module send out the overall drum sound while two direct outputs for sending kick, snare and other sounds to an audio console allow for independent mixing to capture the perfect sound at source.

Furthermore, the Roland VAD706 features an integrated 32-channel USB audio interface so producing music with your computer is made easy.

The TD-50X module also supports MIDI via USB and dedicated I/O so you can sync with other MIDI devices and trigger sounds in your computer's software.
