Inspired by the original PRS Custom 24 that took the 1985 Winter NAMM show by storm, the PRS SE Custom 24 gives relative beginners and aspiring professionals the chance to experience that PRS magic at an affordable price.

In this case we have a guitar constructed with a solid Mahogany back, that's been topped with a gorgeous piece of Spalted Maple. The Mahogany provides the guitar with plenty of natural sustain, and a warm, mellow tone, that's perfectly complimented by the Spalted Maple's bright attack.

Based on the ultra-versatile 85/15 pickups found in the Core Custom 24 guitars, the range of voices these humbuckers are capable of is unreal. Whether you're after playing some meaty rock riffs, gritty blues solos, bright and clean chord arpeggios, or even some vintage surf rock, the 85/15 "S" humbuckers have got you covered.
A large part of their incredible versatility is thanks to the inclusion of a Push/Pull tone control, which splits the pickups from a humbucker into single coils, giving you plenty of tones to experiment with.
