During the Winter NAMM show of 1985, Paul Reed Smith wow'd the guitar-playing community when he introduced the world to the PRS Custom 24 - a guitar which remains the company's most popular to this day.
Whilst the ever-popular Custom 24 is the one that started it all for PRS, the Custom 24/08 takes it all a step further, combining even more versatility with those classic Custom 24 features.

High-Quality Construction
As far as electric guitar tonewood combinations go, Figured maple and Mahogany is a tough one to beat.
Used by some of the biggest names in guitar manufacturing for almost seven decades, and played by some of the leading names in the industry, its legacy speaks for itself.
With the Mahogany back you get a warm and mellow sounding tone, with plenty of punch.
Add the Flamed Maple for a fast attack, snappy overtones, and lots of natural sustain, and you're onto a winner.
Comfortable Neck
Crafted from Mahogany, and utilising the Pattern Regular PRS shape, this neck is ideal for a variety of different playstyles and offers you easy access to every corner of the Rosewood fingerboard.
Adorning the fretboard you'll find a set of those famous PRS Bird fret marker inlays, adding another touch of elegance to an already stylish gutiar.
Tonally Versatile
Specially designed with extended high and low end frequency output ranges, the 85/15 Humbuckers on the Custom 2408 are as versatile a pickup as you could want.
This versatility is largely down to excellent electronics and the 8-way switching system, which gives you a massive array of tones to experiment with.
These 8 different pickup selection options are selected via a combination of the 3-way pickup selector and the two Coil Split Mini Toggles, giving you plenty of Humbucker and Single Coil combinations to experiment with.
Rock Solid Hardware
Regularly evolving to meet the demands of the modern player, the hardware on a PRS Custom 24 is part of the reason the guitar continues to be so popular.
For this model PRS have opted for a set of Phase III Locking Tuners and a Gen III Patented Tremolo, ensuring the kind of rock-solid tuning stability that the company is renowned for.
